Today, parents and carers joined the Gospel Assembly with the children.  We talked about Advent and the Advent Wreath, and we lit the first Advent Candle for Hope, whilst singing the first verse of the hymn 'Light the Advent Candle'. 

The youngest child at the school, Flint, and the eldest child, Amelia, lit the candle together.  We thought about how we could prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ.  This is a season of hope, faith, and joyful anticipation.
