This week in English, Year 1 have been working hard on writing in the first person, inspired by our class book 'The Storm Whale'.  The children have been imagining themselves as the main character in the story and expressing their thoughts and feelings through their writing.

We also had the pleasure of welcoming some Year 6 children into our classroom.  They supported Year 1 with their writing, offering encouragement and guidance.  It was a wonderful opportunity for collaboration and learning across year groups and both classes really enjoyed the experience!
