    For Black History Month, year 6 have been learning about the life of Mary Prince.  On a post-it note, each child wrote a statement about what the word ‘Freedom’ means to them.  We then looked at the features of poetry before writing a short poem about Freedom.

    This week, year 6 had their reading for pleasure lesson in the school library. Children were able to pick from a variety of books to read whilst finding a comfortable spot to enjoy their reading!
