Kings Coronation Celebrations

To celebrate the Kings Coronation, we spent the morning taking part in some Commonwealth Games activity where we were running, throwing, jumping and skipping.    We then had a picnic style lunch with tuna, ham and cheese sandwiches, with sausage rolls, carrot and cucumber batons and a delicious chocolate cake and chocolate brownies served with strawberries.

After lunch, we buried each classes' time capsule, which had a piece of writing written by each child 'All about me', a picture of their favourite toy and a wrapper of their favourite sweet or chocolate bar.  Parents also included a letter for their children for the capsule.

We finished off the day with Rainbow Assembly where it was announced that Year 6 are the first class to enter the 100% club!
