This week in Year 4 we have been preparing for Christmas. We have created some Christmas tree ornaments to hand up during our tree lighting ceremony.

This week we have started to learn about our new history topic, the Romans.  We discussed what life would have been like before them and how people lived.  It was fun to watch videos and analyse pictures about this time in history.

This week in Year 4 we performed some drama based on the story The Call of Samuel (based on Samuel 2:11, 3:3-10)  We learnt about how the Lord called Samuel to help him.  Doing the drama helped us recall the story and we had a lot of fun.

This week in R.E. we learned about the story of Naomi and Ruth.  We reflected on what it meant to be loyal and created a comic strip demonstrating the conversations Ruth, Naomi and Boaz would have had with one another.
