Year 2 have had another busy week this week and all the children have been working very hard.   In Maths, we have been learning about place value and writing numerals as words.  They have been using the part–whole method to partition numbers.  In Literacy, the children have been enjoying their class text ‘Inside the Villains’ and have been using adjectives and nouns to describe the wolf.

Through PE, the children continued to work on their ball skills. They developed throwing, catching, and keeping the ball under control whilst moving into a space.

Finally, in Science the children have been matching animals to their offspring.
