Year 2 have had another very busy week this week.  During RE the children began by learning about the Creation story in Genesis 1 and that God put humans in charge of caring for and protecting His creation, that God created the world and all living things over six days, and on the seventh day he rested.  We also learned that the Creation story is found in the Old Testament of the Bible and that Genesis means “beginning”.  As we studied the creation of the world, we learnt that God created all life and God is in charge of all life, that God is powerful and spoke the world into existence.  We should love and honour God.  As well as writing and drawing, we used drama to deepen our knowledge of understanding of the seven parts of creation.
