This week, Year 6 took their learning outside! Our topic this term is all about the circulatory system. The children learnt about the four components of blood and their different functions.

Working in groups of four, each child took on the role of one blood component. When a “germ” or “bacteria” entered the system, the children quickly sprang into action to reenact how their component would respond. It was a fun, hands-on way to deepen their understanding of how our blood keeps us healthy!
