The children in Year 5 have continued with their studies in Science, learning about materials.  Last week, the children made a list of substances they would like to test to see whether they are soluble or insoluble.  The materials included sugar, honey, flour, rice, chocolate and even crayon!  The children tested each substance, making sure they used the same amount of water, at the same temperature and for the same amount of time to keep it a fair test.
