UK Parliament Week

Our school parliament came together to discuss issues
As part of UK Parliament Week, the school parliament gathered to discuss ideas for improving their school community. Representatives from each class shared thoughtful suggestions, exploring what changes could make the school an even better place to learn and play. Together, the children created a “pledge wall,” displaying the actions and improvements they hoped to achieve within both the school and the wider community.
Once all the pledges had been shared, the group discussed the ideas in more detail and held a vote to decide which were the most important. They agreed on a clear list of priority areas to focus on, which will guide their work and form the agenda for their next school parliament meeting.
