In this week Spanish lesson, pupils focused on developing their ability to justify their opinions. They took part in a structured speaking activity, where they worked collaboratively and took turns to share their views on their favourite and least favourite school subjects. Pupils used opinion phrases alongside a range of conjunctions to explain and justify their ideas, such as giving reasons for why they like or dislike certain subjects. This activity supported pupils in extending their spoken sentences, improving fluency, and building confidence in expressing personal opinions in Spanish while listening respectfully to others.
