This week Year 2 welcomed the CO Crew into their classroom to deliver a workshop all about CO (Carbon Monoxide).  The children were taught all about the dangers of CO. Where CO can be released in our households and how to spot a flame which is releasing the poisonous CO gas.  The children took part in a variety of games and short activities which were engaging and extremely valuable in increasing their understanding of the dangers of CO.  Be sure your home is safe from the ‘silent killer’ all year round, ensure gas appliances are checked annually by a Gas Safe Registered engineer, and install CO alarms near to any gas appliances.
