This week in Science, we took our learning outside! Children are deepening their understanding of animal groups, including vertebrate and invertebrate animal groups. The children were able to explore some of the animals in their habitat around the school grounds, focussing on the insect group and their observable characteristics. Children were able to make comparisons between different insects by observing their characteristic features.
