Year 6 pupils took part in an exciting spelling challenge designed to develop both vocabulary and sentence-writing skills. Pupils were given a list of spelling words and, within a set time limit, were required to find the dictionary definition for each word and use it correctly in a grammatically accurate sentence. The challenge encouraged careful reading, time management, and a deeper understanding of word meanings, while promoting accurate spelling and effective written expression.
