Science this week saw the children designing parachutes, trying to achieve the longest amount of time in which it took to reach the ground. The children knew that they needed to maximise the amount of air resistance, so thought carefully when making the parachutes. Using a variety of materials, their then recorded the results to see which parachute was best.
