In this Year 6 statistics lesson, pupils learned how to represent data from a table as a pie chart. They began by finding the total of the data and calculating the proportion each category represented. Pupils then converted these proportions into angles by multiplying by 360°, ensuring each section accurately reflected the data. Finally, they used protractors to measure and draw each segment of the pie chart, developing their skills in data representation, calculation, and precise measurement.
