In Year 2 this week, children were engaging in a variety of activities, including learning about Florence Nightingale and Mary Seacole and compiling a timeline of events during the Crimean War.  The children have been reinforcing their understanding of ‘time’ o’clock and half past.   Year 2 have also focused on key skills like counting in 2s, 5s and 10s, and increasing independence in writing in preparation for SATs.
