The children in Year 2 have continued their history topic looking at Florence Nightingale. They looked at artefacts, different sources and fact books. We were able to learn lots about her life and about how important she was!  The focus this week was on how Florence Nightingale fundamentally transformed hospitals by introducing strict sanitation, professional nursing, and modern ward designs.
