This week, Year 2 drew pictures of Noah and the Ark as part of their Religious Education (RE) curriculum to explore the biblical story of obedience, patience, animals, and new beginnings. These drawings typically featured a large boat, pairs of animals, and a rainbow.  The children first listened to the story and sequenced the main events.  They talked about which animals they would bring on the Ark and the reasons why.  They relied on their science knowledge of predator and prey to help justify their answers.
