Children from Year 2 and Year 6 came together for a joint act of worship, reflecting on the theme of forgiveness and love, drawn from the Gospel reading appointed for the day.  The service opened with a hymn, followed by the Gospel reading from Luke 7:36–50.  The worship concluded with the children responding to the Psalm refrain from Psalm 118, and a closing prayer in which pupils thanked God for his forgiveness and asked for grace to forgive others, just as the woman in the Gospel was forgiven.
