This week in maths, Year 1 have been learning number bonds to 10, finding all the different ways two numbers can combine to make 10, like 6 and 4 or 7 and 3. At the end of the lesson, the children got to play “Hit the Button,” a fast-paced interactive game where they raced to find the matching number bond before the clock ran out. They loved the challenge and were spotting their bonds quicker and quicker each round!
