    This week, Year 5 have been learning about neurodiversity, and we researched dyspraxia.  We all picked a different activity to contribute to our class book. We have a range of drawings, poems, posters and stories that we can't wait to share with everyone at St. Joseph's!

    This week we have been planning a catching game in computing. Our aim is to have a sprite that will catch a falling object and give us a point. We had to plan what we will create before making it  on scratch.

    This week, in Year 5, we have been looking into the book Beowulf.  We were inspired to create a character description of a mythical creature that we created.  We had fun being imaginative and next week we will develop our writing further.

    This week Year 5 took part in the National fitness day activities. We all tried our best and had such a fun time!

    Today in Year 5 we were learning about children's rights. We discussed and understood the importance of having the freedom of thought, expression and the right to education.  We then created a poster and drew pictures which we will display in the classroom.
