Back to school for only one day, and the children in Year 5 were off on a trip. We visited the Houses of Parliament where we actually got to watch MPs in the House of Commons and the Lords and Dames in the House of Lords.  We also took a tour around the rest of the Palace of Westminster, including Westminster Hall, where the Queen was laid in state, back in 2022.  After our tour, we completed some activities, some of which we want to do more of back in school!  It was a good day, and thank you to Mrs Bird and the mums of Elsee, Gabriel and Francis for coming with us.
