We have had a very busy week in Year 2 this week.  During the topic of Baptism in RE, the children learned that for Christians, Jesus is "the Light of the World" because he brings hope, guidance, and life, which combats the "darkness" of sin and sadness. They listened to the Bible verse ‘John 8:12, “” I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” and created their own lanterns and explored how they could ‘be a light’ to others through kindness.
