This week, Year 1 have been writing beautiful poems about their hair during our English lessons. They have been using expressive language and have even used some rhyming words in their poem. The Year 1 team are so proud of what they have produced!

In Music, Year 1 have been looking at Music through film and in our lesson we listened to Andy’s Birthday from the Toy Story Score and created a graphic score. The children had to listen carefully to identify the different sounds they could hear.

Year 1 have been practicing throwing in PE this half term and this week we played a game focusing on our teamwork and developing simple tactics for attacking/ defending. They had so much fun!
