Year 1 have been working super hard in preparation for our Black History Month exhibition, which will take place next week Tuesday.  Our focus this year has been on the inspiring British athelete Denise Lewis.  To celebrate her achievemenhts, we have explored the art of collage as our main creative theme.  The children have been learning how to layer different textures, colours, and materials to create powerful visual repreentations of Denise Lewis's journey and impact.
