In our Geography lesson, we learned how to use directional words to describe where things are on a map of our KS1 playground.  We used the words:

• To the left
• To the right
• Near
• Far
• Next to

We looked carefully at our playground map and practised describing where different objects are.  This helped us understand position and direction.
