Year 1 have been very busy over the past few weeks watching and exploring The Gruffalo. They have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the characters, joining in with the repeated phrases, and discussing the events of the story. Through a range of activities, the children have developed their understanding of the tale and have been practising how to retell it in their own words.
