This week, Year 1 started reading our exciting new core text, Wild by Emily Hughes.  In our English lesson, we looked closely at describing the main character. Our teacher helped us picture her: a round face, two round eyes, freckles on her cheeks, a short neck, and long, tangled green hair.   We then headed outside to collect leaves, which we used to create our own artwork inspired by the story and the results were amazing!
