This week Year 1 have been practising counting backwards in a very exciting way by building their own rockets! Each child was given a random number between 1 and 10, then counted down from it, getting louder and more excited as they reached zero, before shouting "Blast off!" The children loved every minute of it, and it was a brilliant, energetic way to build their confidence with counting backwards.
