In English, Year 1 have been reading 'Leaf by Sandra Dieckmann' and exploring our senses. We visited Forest School, we imagined what the polar bear could see, hear, smell, touch, and taste. We then used our observations to write setting descriptions, bringing the story to life with our own creative language.
