This week in English, we re-enacted a scene from our book. We found this interesting as we were able to act out the emotions from the book and it made it easier for us to understand how the character felt.

This week at swimming we had a water safety lesson. This lesson was to inform us on how to be safe around water. We discussed what to do in an emergency and how to behave around water.

This week in English we have been looking at newspapers. We have analysed a newspaper article to find all of the features to help us write our own newspaper next week.

Last week we wrote formal letters to Miss Long to try and convince her to allow us to wear our own clothes. Miss Long then replied to some of our letters which we then read to the class. This week in computing we have been trying to link out learning to music. We used an app called Isle of tune. This was fun as we were able to create our own masterpieces and share it as a class. We found it interesting as we were able to change the pitch and tune of our island.
