In Science, the children in Year 5 have been investigating the properties of different materials. They grouped materials in Carroll Diagrams, according to their properties: hardness, transparency, magnetism and conductivity - whether they could conduct electricity.

At the end of the last academic year, the Year 5 children wrote to King Charles III to tell him about the book "The boy at the back of the class" that we were reading in English. Over the summer holiday, we received a reply! It is now framed at the front of the classroom...
